Red Raspberry Seed Oil
Extraordinarily high in Omega-3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, Rasperry Seed oil is a superb anti-oxidant. It contains 83% essential fatty acids. Its high level of Vitamin E is known to be give it an important role in skin repair and conditioning. Raspberry Oil is known especially for its prevention of gingivitis, rashes, eczema and other skin lesions. Raspberry seed oil is emollient, lubricating, conditioning, creates a lipid barrier providing protection to the skin and provides moisture retention for the skin.
Candelila Wax
Vegetable alternative to beeswax or mineral waxes, can be used in soap-making in the same way as beeswax and also in the preparation of lipsticks and lip gloss.
Sesame Seed Oil
A stable, versatile oil that sinks into the skin easily and also conditions the hair. Contains a natural SPF. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin and babies.
Calendula Oil
Known for its skincare properties, calendula is regenerative and anti-inflamatory. Good for treating damaged and chapped skin. It is considered to be an excellent remedy for all kinds of skin damage, such as wounds, scars, burns, scalds, abrasions, infections, various inflammations and other injuries. The powerful action of Calendula oil lies in improving the blood flow to the inflicted area and in further tissue regeneration.
Tiosol
Liquid sun protection ts a physical liquid sunscreen that slows UV-A and UV-B rays. It works by laying a coating on top of the skin that reflects and spreads the UV rays, and so protects the skin from the sun.
Shea Butter
Shea butter, also known as karite butter, once refined is a white-to-cream coloured fatty substance made from the nuts of karite nut trees (also called Mangifolia trees) that grow in the savannah regions of West and Central Africa. Karite trees (or shea trees) are not cultivated but grow only in the wild. Shea butter is a particularly effective moisturiser because it contains so many fatty acids, which are needed to retain skin moisture and elasticity. The high fatty acid content of shea butter also makes it an excellent additive to soap, shampoos, anti-aging creams, cosmetics, lotions, and massage oils. Its soft, butter-like texture melts readily into the skin.
Cupuacu Butter
Cupuaçu Butter is a non hydrogenated butter that makes the skin smooth and soft whilst boosting the natural moisture levels. Rich in phytosterols, it improves the overall appearance of the skin. It melts quickly in contact with the skin and is often used as a substitute for Cocoa Butter.
Rice Bran Wax
A skin conditioning agent and protective wax that adds body to emulsions, giving them good spreadability as well as a silky, non-sticky feel.
Vitamin E
An extremely effective antioxidant that can extend the shelf life of your creams and lotions by slowing down oxidation. Excellent to use on the skin for its ability to reduce free radical damage.
Menthol
A intensely menthol aroma that is minty with a very cold bite when inhaled, and just a hint of camphor. Colourless to white crystals that dissolve easily into essential oils or alcohol and give a very cooling and numbing sensation to the skin.
